Fiu Sānele Leota

Fiu Sānele Leota brings the Samoan language and culture to life through engaging, immersive teaching that inspires students to learn with confidence. He is a staff member in the Centre for Samoan Studies, where he teaches and promotes Samoan language, culture, and Indigenous knowledge. With extensive experience teaching international students, Leota equips participants with the language skills and cultural understanding needed to engage meaningfully with Samoan communities. As both a teacher and a guide throughout the program, he plays an essential role in helping students feel welcome, connected, and confident during their time in Samoa.
