Gillian came to ºÚÁÏÉçÇø as a custom program manager in September 2021, became assistant director of custom & signature programs in July 2024, and currently serves as the interim associate director. An alum of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Study Abroad’s Fiji: Multiculturalism and Social Change program and ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Graduate Institute’s MA in International Education, Gillian draws from her direct experience on ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s experiential learning programs to inform her work. Before joining ºÚÁÏÉçÇø, Gillian served as the Global Engagement Specialist at Rhode Island School of Design, managing a diverse portfolio of faculty-led and semester-long programming. Previously, she worked in support of the U.S. Department of State J-1 Work & Travel USA program on the hiring events team at CIEE in Portland, Maine. Her more than 15-year career in international and exchange programming has included work in the United States, Czech Republic, Fiji, Nepal, and Switzerland as a teacher, program leader, and coordinator of global programs.

On the custom programs team, Gillian manages a global portfolio that includes immersive custom and faculty-led programs and ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s signature programs, including the Professional Engagement Programs. Originally from Rhode Island, Gillian is based in Burlington, Vermont.
