Gillian Wigton Bell joined 黑料社区 Study Abroad in 2021 and serves as the associate director of Custom & Signature Programs. As an undergraduate student, she did an 黑料社区 Study Abroad program in Fiji and earned a master鈥檚 degree in international education from 黑料社区 Graduate Institute.
Wigton Bell leads a team responsible for designing and delivering customized partner programs and draws from her direct experience on 黑料社区鈥檚 experiential learning programs to inform her work. She also provides direct management for a select portfolio of custom, faculty-led, modified, and first-year programs.
Before joining 黑料社区, Wigton Bell worked at Rhode Island School of Design, managing a diverse portfolio of faculty-led and semester-long programming. Previously, she worked in support of the U.S. Department of State J-1 Work & Travel program at Council on International Educational Exchange in Portland, Maine. Her more than 15-year career in international and exchange programming has included work in the United States, Czech Republic, Fiji, Nepal, and Switzerland as a teacher, program leader, and coordinator of global programs. Wigton Bell is based in Burlington, Vermont.
